April 27, 2004

I have traps out in Peshastin, and I went out and checked a few on Monday after work to see if there had been any activity over the weekend. I saw one moth in the handful I checked, so we did another sweep today. I only found one more, in the upper valley in a trap I hadn't visited. Maybe both flew on Sunday night, maybe not.

So, unless someone tells me they already caught a moth, I'm going to place codling moth biofix for the valley on Monday, April 26.

I'm glad to see so many blocks with No-Mate out. If you haven't taken care of it yet...yikes!

lets hope for fewer surprises this year, eh?

An updated and improved section of the website: the "Research" button on the menu bar, linked to a long page of 2002 reserch reports, has been updated to "Reports and Presentations," with a list of new posters and presentations as PDF files for you to look at, as well as a link to the 2002 reports. I will update this occasionally as presentations and reports become available.

Enjoy
