Nadine Lehrer

Dr. Lehrer is currently working with the Pest Management Transition Project (PMTP) in Wenatchee to:

  1. assess and document the impacts of grower education programs on the phase-out of Azinphos-methyl (Guthion) in apple production;
  2. evaluate and increase the knowledge and involvement of farm labor in transitioning to alternate pest control; and
  3. understand and involve environmental groups in working towards a more environmentally and socially sustainable apple industry.
